Q: How did you get involved in cooking? Was it something you learned to love early or did you come to it later?
A: I always loved food and cooking. My mother is a very good cook and I began cooking with her as soon as I could safely reach the stove.
Q: Why is eating grass-fed meat important? How does it affect your cooking?
A: Eating the Very BEST quality food is important to me and grass-fed beef is an integral part of that mix. I believe that we need to honor ourselves and our bodies by providing the best quality products as nature intended. And consuming meat products from animals that ate what nature intended while they were alive will ultimately provide a diet that is more nutritionally balanced and TASTY.
Q: Is it just about health or more than that?
A: It is absolutely about health AND it's about enjoying the food we eat because it is healthy & delicious.

A: My doctors -- Dr. Eric Serrano and Dr. Jeffery Morrison
Q: Why is it so important to have the right ingredients?
A: The quality of your meal is only as good as the quality of its individual components.
Q: What are the most important keys to success for the home chef?
A: Having a kitchen with basic tools makes cooking more fun and successful. Learning to master basic cooking techniques also provide a framework for success.
Q: What home cooking tips can you provide for our readers?
A: Make sure to read your recipes thoroughly before beginning, line up all of your tools to make sure you have everything and follow a new recipe as it is written the first time. You can always adapt it the next time.
Q: What is your favorite recipe using grass-fed meat?
A: I love meatballs, meatloaf and hamburgers! They are all very friendly, accessible and comforting with room for a pretty wide range of adaptations to allow for individual creativity and tastes.
